On 10 February 2026, we organised Global Woman’s Breakfast 2026 at the Jožef Stefan Institute to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The meeting was held as a hybrid event in the Kolarjeva Lecture Hall.

The event began with presentations on gender equality at JSI, followed by a roundtable discussion where participants explored the importance of mentorship and community, challenges and opportunities for women in STEM in Slovenia, and balancing personal life and career.

Participants actively shared experiences, exchanged ideas, and strengthened connections and networking within the community.
