From July 13 to 18, 2025, the IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics (IEEE ISAF-ICE-ISIF-PFM 2025) took place in Graz, Austria. The conference was attended by 515 participants from around the world, with 14 colleagues from  Electronic Ceramics Department participating.

Prof. Dr. Hana Uršič served as the conference chair, and Prof. Dr. Andreja Benčan was the chair of the program committee.

All colleagues who attended the conference presented either a spoken contribution or a poster.

Doctoral students Ivana Goričan, Žiga Bertalanič, and Victor Regis received awards for their contributions:

• Victor Regis: winner of the Student Pitch Competition.
• Ivana Goričan: secured 3rd place in the student presentation competition.
• Žiga Bertalanič: received an award for a poster titled “Fabrication of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell.”

On the final day, a laboratory tour of the Jožef Stefan Institute was organized for interested participants (25), which was very well received.
