Successfull organization of the workshop entitled Material MosAIc: Testing Today, Building Tomorrow

The  Electronic Ceramics Department, together with the companies Altium and Netzsch, organised the Material MosAlc: Testing Today, Building Tomorrow workshop. The event took place on May 20 and 21, 2025, at the Jožef Stefan Institute, and it successfully showcased the world of materials analysis and testing.

The first day consisted of lectures on thermal analysis covering topics from differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and simultaneous thermal analysis (STA) coupled with infrared spectroscopy (IR) or quadrupole mass spectrometry (QMS). Participants also learned about thermophysical properties, rheology, and the role of machine learning and artificial intelligence in materials science. The second day featured practical workshops on DSC, STA coupled with QMS, and rheology.

Participants enjoyed engaging content filled with practical advice, insightful lectures, and live demonstrations of measurement equipment.
