From May 27 to 29, 2026, the 18th Jožef Stefan Student Conference, titled Research without Borders, took place at Mirenski Grad in Miren. At the conference, students presented the results of their research work across a variety of scientific disciplines.

The special award for the best contribution at the conference was presented to young researcher Alberto Giribaldi, who was recognized for his outstanding research contribution.
