We are pleased to announce that Prof. Hana Uršič Nemevšek, K5 Head is serving as one of the Guest Editors of a special issue of the international scientific journal Microstructures, entitled “Microstructural Engineering of Advanced Dielectric Ceramics for Energy Storage Applications.”

The special issue aims to highlight recent advances in the design, fabrication, and characterization of advanced dielectric ceramic materials for energy storage applications. Particular emphasis is placed on understanding the relationships between material microstructures and their functional properties, as well as developing innovative approaches to improve energy density, efficiency, and reliability.

The special issue is co-edited by Prof. Shujun Zhang (City University of Hong Kong) and Prof. Li Jin (Xi’an Jiaotong University, China).

The manuscript submission deadline is January 15, 2027.
