We are pleased to announce that our research project “Ferroelectric Altermagnets from Correlated Oxides in LiNbO3-type Structures” has been selected for funding under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie – Seal of Excellence 2026 programme.
Led by Dr Nathan Daniel Arndt, the project was originally submitted to the international HORIZON-MSCA-2025-PF-01 call, where it achieved an excellent evaluation score of 93.8% in the European Commission’s assessment. Following this strong result, the project was selected for national funding by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS).
The project will run for two years, from January 2027.
This selection is an important recognition of the quality of the proposed research and creates new opportunities to advance research into functional materials and the emerging field of ferroelectric altermagnets.
Congratulations to Dr. Arndt and everyone involved!
