Jožef Stefan Institute and the MIDEM Society jointly sucessfully organized the 58th International Conference on Microelectronics, Devices, and Materials (MIDEM 2023). This conference took place in Lipica, Slovenia from 27th to 29th September 2023, alongside the workshop titled “Chemical Sensors: Materials and Use.” Over 60 researchers participated in this event. The presentations, one plenary, eight invited and 44 regular presentations, were divided into the sections Optoelectronics, Integrated Circuits and Systems on Chip, Sensors and MEMS, Thin and Thick Films, and Materials, Technology and Devices. Prof. Dr. Danjela Kuščer from the Electronic Ceramics Department (K5) organised and chaired the conference, while Dr. Kristina Žagar Soderžnik from the Department of Nanostructured Materials (K7) organised and chaired the workshop.
