Representatives of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) had visited JSI for the occation of announcement of granted bilateral projects of researchers from both institutions for the period 2026–2027. Among the grant recipients are also Dr. Mojca Otoničar from K5 and Dr. Giovanna Canu from the ICMATE institute in Genova, who presented objectives of their joint project, along with other italian-slovenian project grantees. JSI director dr. Leon Cizelj hosted a work debate between the CNR delegation, JSI representatives and researches. The italian partners had the oportunity to visit JSI laboratories, after which informal debates contitued.
