On Tuesday, 13 October 2026, our colleague Prof. Dr. Danjela Kuščer Hrovatin delivered her inaugural lecture at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School (IPS) as part of the habilitation procedure for appointment to the position of Full Professor in the field of Materials.
In her lecture entitled “Functional Thick Films for Electrochemical Sensors,” she presented the development and fabrication of functional thick films using screen-printing technology and their application in electrochemical sensors. Particular emphasis was placed on the relationship between processing conditions, microstructure, and functional properties of thick films, as well as the development of integrated sensors for detecting pollutants in aquatic environments.
Congratulations on the successful inaugural lecture!
