We are looking for a candidate for doctoral study and employment at the Electronic Ceramics Department (K5) at the Jožef Stefan Institute in the field of materials research with exotic electrical and magnetic properties, such as multi-caloric materials for new, environmentally friendly solid-state cooling systems. The work will include the preparation of materials and composite elements, structural characterization, and research of the physical properties of the prepared samples. Using special experimental methods the work will be held in the frame of our newly established Lab for materials – ULTRACOOL (http://www-k5.ijs.si/sistem-za-nanasanje-trdnih-delcev-v-curku-aerosola/; http://www-k5.ijs.si/oprema/ultracool-laboratorij-financiran-iz-direktorjevega-sklada-2017/).
